David Tennant is the hottest hotness. I had a hard time getting used to This new Matt fellow, so enjoy Tennant while you have him. Doctor Who is amazeballs, especially the Steven Moffat episodes (eg "Blink", that one with the library).
If you like the awesome low-budget Britishness of Doctor Who, but miss the alien-sexing space captainness of Star Trek, and would like to add more Welsh accents to your life, might I suggest checking out the spin-off series Torchwood? It's surprisingly good (despite my description), and grows on you after a few episodes.
